RV042 & RV082 System Log Config Settings
This is how we configure our RV042 & RV082 routers' System Log settings to send us email once a day.
It's useful to have your RV042 or RV082 router send out email once a day:
1) To remind you it's working, and
2) To tell you what it's done in the last 24 hours.
Below is a screen capture of how we typically configure the RV042 and RV082 routers we deploy. You will have to fill in the Mail Server: and Send E-mail to fields with your own values.
You can experiment with checking additional boxes on the Alert Log or General Log, but you might get an excessive amount of email.
